Banana raised her hand and touched the necklace around her neck. The star pendant sparkled under the light. She looked at herself in the mirror, then at Ye Haoxuan, and her eyes instantly reddened.

"Brother Xuan..." she choked out, not knowing what to say.

"Do you like it?" Ye Haoxuan asked softly.

Ye Haoxuan paid the money and pulled Banana out of the jewelry store.

Banana asked curiously, "Brother Xuan, this isn't the way to my house. Where are you taking me?"

Ye Haoxuan glanced at her sideways, a faint smile on his lips: "I'll take you somewhere, you'll see when we get there."

After driving for more than ten minutes, the car finally stopped in front of a quiet residential building. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it was exceptionally peaceful at night. There were many green plants growing downstairs, and the evening breeze carried the fragrance of grass and trees.

Ye Haoxuan turned off the engine, unbuckled his seatbelt, and said softly:

Banana followed him out of the car, her mind filled with doubt.

He pushed open the door and casually turned on the light in the entryway.

This is a two-bedroom apartment, decorated simply yet warmly. The living room has a light gray carpet, a soft beige sofa, and a bouquet of fresh pink carnations on the coffee table, exactly the same as the one Ye Haoxuan gave her during the day.

The balcony's floor-to-ceiling windows are draped with light-colored gauze curtains, through which moonlight filters in, creating a gentle and tranquil atmosphere.

"Brother Xuan, what is this..." Banana turned to look at Ye Haoxuan, her voice full of surprise.

Ye Haoxuan walked into the room, picked up another set of keys from the coffee table, walked up to her, and handed it to her, his tone serious:

“This is another house of mine, which I don’t live in very often, but I’m giving it to you now.”

"Give it to me?" Banana was stunned, instinctively taking a step back and waving her hand. "No, Brother Xuan, this is too precious, I can't accept it!"

Banana looked at the cold keys in her palm, then at the cozy furnishings in the room, and her eyes instantly welled up with tears.

She could feel Ye Haoxuan's thoughtfulness; every detail took her preferences into account.

In all her life, no one has ever been so kind to her, willing to give her a stable home.

"Brother Xuan..." she choked out, tears streaming down her face like a broken string of pearls, "What have I done to deserve such kindness from you..."

Ye Haoxuan reached out and wiped away her tears, gently pulling her into his arms: "Silly girl, you deserve it. From the moment you were willing to help me, I knew you were a good girl. From now on, this will be your safe haven. No matter what happens, I'll always be here for you."

Banana nestled in his arms and cried even harder; this time, it was tears of emotion.

She hugged Ye Haoxuan tightly around the waist, buried her face in his chest, felt his steady heartbeat, and felt a sense of security.

Banana cried for a while before gradually calming down.

Ye Haoxuan took her hand and showed her around the whole house.

The master bedroom faces south and has excellent natural light. The bed is covered with soft bedding, and there are even several dresses that she could wear already hanging in the wardrobe.
