Chapter 148 Prefect
Chapter 148 Prefect
"Remus? Remus!" Tonks' voice came from the other side of the door. "Can I come in?"
Edwards walked over and opened the door. Tonks smiled and greeted Edwards, "Hi! Edwards, Mrs. Weasley asked you to have lunch. Come on! Remus! Harry is back. He's fine!"
Tonks walked past Aris and came to Remus, who seemed a little embarrassed. Tonks took one of Remus' arms and walked out the door while chattering non-stop. Remus smiled helplessly at Aris and said, "Let's go... Aris... let's go together..."
Several people came to the kitchen and dining room in the basement together. Most people gathered here, and Aeris sat next to Hermione.
"They actually used a formal court against Harry!" Mr. Weasley said in disbelief. "Didn't you see that everyone who walked out of that room was a Wizengamot..."
"He's okay... He's okay... He's okay..." Ginny, Fred and George were celebrating, singing and dancing a kind of "war dance".
"Can't you all be quiet for a moment?" said Mrs. Weasley angrily.
Everyone started chatting while enjoying lunch. Before Mr. Weasley brought Harry back, he saw Lucius Malfoy. When they talked about these things, Draco had a bitter face and stuffed mashed potatoes into his mouth absentmindedly.
Suddenly Harry covered the scar on his forehead with his hand, his face showing pain.
"Are you okay, Harry?" Hermione asked worriedly.
Harry took a few deep breaths and waved his hands, as if trying to control his emotions.
"He's fine... He's fine... He's fine..."
"Shut up, everyone!" Mrs. Weasley roared. "Sit down and eat!"
In the next few days, Sirius became very depressed, sometimes looking resentful, sometimes silent. Harry said that he understood Sirius very well, after all, the day for them to return to school was getting closer and closer.
"Honestly, Harry, you shouldn't feel guilty about this!" Aris advised during a break in the practice of Occlumency. "You have to finish your studies first, don't you? Let's just laze around in this room today. You haven't been paying attention today."
"Well! That's great!" Harry slumped down on a sofa without any image, and said a little frustratedly, "I thought life here would be more interesting and exciting... To be honest, Aris, I miss Hogwarts... Don't tell Sirius about this, okay?"
"Now the enemy is in the dark and we are in the light. We can't even find Voldemort's shadow. How can you expect this place to be exciting?" Aeris said, "But, Harry, you'd better not have too high expectations for this year's campus life. Our enemy is not just Voldemort. Professor Dumbledore has been fighting Fudge for a whole summer. You can't expect Fudge to let Hogwarts go."
"What do you mean?" Harry sat up straight and looked at Aris and asked.
"Fudge will definitely use his influence as the Minister of Magic to do something to Hogwarts. This is inevitable," said Aris. "For example, the position of our Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is still vacant. Fudge will definitely find ways to get his confidant to take this position, and even use this position as a starting point to plot against the entire Hogwarts..."
"D... Dumbledore... Professor will never allow such a ridiculous thing to happen..." Harry said with a short breath, "This is absolutely impossible..."
"Even Professor Dumbledore has to compromise on some things," Aris said helplessly. "Of course, this is just my guess. As the saying goes: the higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. I just hope you can be mentally prepared."
In a blink of an eye, it was the last day of summer vacation. These days, both Aris and Harry were a little exhausted physically and mentally. Harry's brain-occlusion learning was not going well. The only result was that at least Harry would not lose his temper easily.
After finishing the morning practice, Aries and Harry walked out of the living room on the second floor somewhat dejectedly. Ron walked over quickly and handed two envelopes, one to Aries and one to Harry.
"Our book list for the new school year has arrived," said Ron. "I thought they forgot to send it. In previous years, it was delivered much earlier."
"Don't stand in the corridor," said Aeris. "Go to Hermione's bedroom."
Aris knocked on the door of Hermione and Ginny's bedroom. It was Hermione who opened the door. Ginny was sitting on her bed, looking at something.
"Have your book lists been delivered, girls?" Aeris asked with a smile.
Hermione rolled her eyes. "Come in, it's like we're not from the same house." Hermione said speechlessly.
"Have your book lists been delivered as well, girls?" Draco came down from the third floor and pretentiously straightened his clothes.
"Oh my god!" said Aris. "Congratulations, Draco, for becoming the new Slytherin prefect!"
That's right, at this moment Draco was wearing a beautiful green and silver badge on his chest, and the Slytherin snake engraved on it looked like it was alive.
Draco walked into the bedroom with everyone else, looking very proud, and said, "Grindelwald, you must have got the badge too, right?"
Aries pinched his envelope, shook his head with a wry smile, "It seems not!" Aries said.
With trembling fingers, Hermione took out a beautiful red and gold badge, which proved that Hermione had become the new fifth-year prefect.
"Since it's not Grindelwald, then is it you, Potter?" Draco asked.
Harry searched in his own envelope as well, but there was no prefect badge.
Instead, Ron took out a badge from his envelope in confusion.
"Great! Buddy! Congratulations!" Aris smiled and patted Ron on the shoulder. "You are now the prefect of Gryffindor!" Aris said.
Harry's expression was a little subtle.
"No," said Draco incredulously, "How can you be a prefect, Weasley?"
Ron glared at Draco and said angrily, "Why can't I be a prefect?"
"What kind of train of thought would choose you as the prefect..." Draco said with a pout.
Ron was about to retort...
There were two crisp "crackling" sounds, and Fred and George Apparated into the bedroom. After seeing the badge in Ron's hand, the two of them lost their balance and the twins squatted on the floor.
"Oh my god!" Fred fussed.
George stood up quickly, walked to Ron, snatched the badge from Ron's hand, looked up, raised it above his head and observed it carefully: "Little Ronnie, are you crazy about being a prefect? Why do you want to forge a badge?"
Ron's face turned green with anger. "Can't I be the prefect?" Ron said angrily.
"What kind of person would choose you as a prefect?" Fred looked at Aris, then at Harry, and said meaningfully.
George quickly stuffed the badge back into Ron's hand and wiped his hands on Ron's clothes, as if he had just handled something dirty.
