Chapter 119 Professor Snape's Warning
Chapter 119 Professor Snape's Warning
After the second project, Aeris and Harry completely got rid of the prejudices of their Hogwarts classmates. Even many of their Hufflepuff classmates looked at them without any hostility.
Even students from colleges other than Slytherin would take the initiative to have friendly conversations with Draco, which was unimaginable in the past. Students from the other three colleges rarely interacted with Slytherin students.
Except for Professor Snape, after the second project was over, he looked at Harry with a more sinister look.
One evening, after dinner, Aris, Harry, Hermione and Ron were wandering bored in an empty corridor. A door in the corridor suddenly opened, and there seemed to be a storage room behind the door.
In the storage room, Principal Karkaroff was rolling up his sleeves and showing something on his forearm to Professor Snape. Professor Snape seemed very impatient and opened the door to drive Principal Karkaroff out.
As luck would have it, Aeris, Harry and the other three were just passing by the door. Headmaster Karkaroff turned his head and saw them. He put down his sleeves in a panic, glared at Professor Snape, and left reluctantly.
Before leaving, Headmaster Karkaroff glared at Aeris and Harry. Aeris tugged at Harry and Hermione's arms, tilted his head, and was about to slip away in the opposite direction of Headmaster Karkaroff.
"Wait a moment, you four," Professor Snape's emotionless voice came, causing Aeris, Harry and the other three to stop.
"What's the hurry? Come in!" Professor Snape said. The four people had no choice but to enter the small storage room obediently. Professor Snape closed the door, which made the small storage room a little crowded.
"First of all, I would like to congratulate you two on your outstanding performance in the second game," said Professor Snape, "especially Mr. Potter!"
Ron looked at Professor Snape with a strange expression, not knowing what he was up to.
"Gillian weed, huh?" Professor Snape looked at Harry and said teasingly. Harry nodded silently and didn't say anything. He just looked at Professor Snape stubbornly.
"That's a very precious and rare herb," Professor Snape began to search for something in his storage compartment. He continued, "You can't just find it in any vegetable garden. Of course, you can't find this one..."
Professor Snape faced his four companions and shook a small crystal bottle in his hand, which contained some transparent liquid. "Do you know what this is?" Professor Snape asked.
The four companions shook their heads at the same time. Professor Snape smiled maliciously and said, "Veritaserum. Only three drops are needed. Even the Dark Lord will reveal his innermost thoughts on darkness. Unfortunately, the use of Veritaserum is forbidden for students..."
Hermione's breathing began to quicken and she looked at Professor Snape in disbelief.
Professor Snape was very satisfied with everyone's expressions. He said quietly, "But if any of you dares to steal things from my private storage room again, don't blame me for accidentally dropping a few drops into the pumpkin juice on your table..."
"We didn't steal..." Harry quickly retorted.
"Don't... lie... to me..." Professor Snape put his face close to Harry, his hooked nose almost touching Harry's nose.
"Gillweed is harmless enough," said Professor Snape, and there was a gleam of tenderness in his dark eyes as he looked into Harry's, but it was soon replaced by a sinister look.
"But how do you explain the lacewings, leeches, powdered bicorn horns, two-eared grass, full moon sap grass, and African snake skin?" Professor Snape said, "Are you guys tinkering with the Polyjuice Potion? Or have you been replaced?"
Aeris took out his wand and waved it above his head a few times. Several threads slowly outlined his name: Aeris Grindelwald.
"This is real name magic, Professor Snape," Aerys said. "You must know the effect of this magic better than I do. I can't even use this magic to write: Aerys Green. Even if someone pretends to be me, it is impossible to write my name with this magic. If my companions are replaced, I will definitely know it immediately."
"I'm just reminding you," Professor Snape glanced at Aris and said slowly, "Don't let someone with ulterior motives take advantage of you without you realizing it."
Professor Snape waved his hand, the door of the storage room opened automatically, and then he looked at his four companions expressionlessly.
The four companions quickly left this troubled place.
