Chapter 815: Short-lived Success?

The Beast Taming blessing immediately transmitted waves of emotions back to Aksai.

Excitement. Dependence. Longing.

The Void Gu greedily absorbed more of his cultivation energies.

The Void Gu were a strange existence. They were supposed to be alive, and yet they could not truly be counted among the living. This was because they possessed neither intact bodies nor complete souls.

Even though the Void Gu did not have complete minds, their instincts told them that they were incomplete beings. They truly wished to step into the world of the living by obtaining complete souls and bodies.

Aksai took advantage of these instincts using his druidic blessing in order to tame them. The result was far better than he had expected.

Inside Aksai’s body, the countless microscopic Void Gu slowly became more complete. The azure radiance shining from his body also became brighter and brighter.

At this point, Aksai no longer looked human. He looked like a humanoid figure made from countless stars floating inside endless darkness.

Even Yelia became silent after witnessing the scene.

Aksai tried circulating more Spirit Essence toward them. The nearby Void Gu reacted slightly. Some glanced toward him curiously. But none of them returned to his body willingly.

Aksai then released more Beast Taming aura. The Void Gu only floated around happily without much reaction. They had already received what they wanted. At least for now.

"The druidic powers work on them. But only temporarily. What should I do now?"

Since he had not used any proper gu taming methods on them, he had no true control over these strange creatures.

Everything that happened until now had only been based on instinctive attraction. And instinctive attraction alone was clearly not enough to bind them permanently.

She truly did not care anymore whether the Void Water Pond could be taken away or not. Compared to Aksai’s safety, those things were meaningless.

The Void Gu were simply too strange and dangerous. Even now, Yelia still felt lingering fear after witnessing Aksai allow millions of Void Gu to enter his body willingly.

Thankfully, Aksai already knew how to use his Aether Beast as a secondary processing unit. Although Verdant Elder was nowhere near as intelligent as Aksai, its spiritual structure and neural pathways could still be used for calculations and analysis.
