Chapter 279 Winter Hunting

The cold winds of December howled and blew all the way into January.

It blew away the sisters' hard work and sweat of the past year, and ushered in their new year of "ox-and-horse" life.

"Sister, look here!" She suddenly squatted down, pointing with a red candied hawthorn to a small cluster of tender green under the snow.

"Look, it's so cold, and winter isn't over yet, but these little green grasses have already sprouted so eagerly!"

The pale green grass lay hidden beneath the snow, neither pushing upwards nor withering. Quietly gathering its strength, it waited for the snow to melt before bursting forth, growing wildly...

This is probably what it means when the snow clears and the sky turns blue, and all things are reborn.
