Mu Xiaoyu kept her eyes closed, still showing no reaction whatsoever, as if she had completely ignored this person.
Seeing this, Xu Lan's smile deepened. She straightened up, raised her hand and clapped it lightly twice. The next moment, well-trained bodyguards walked in, the one at the front carrying a basin of water.
Before entering, the lead bodyguard handed the basin of water directly to Xu Lan. They didn't know what Xu Lan wanted the water for, assuming it was just her unique teaching method, so they didn't think much of it.
Without hesitation, the other person took the basin of water and poured it all over Mu Xiaoyu without any politeness. Mu Xiaoyu had no idea that Xu Lan would dare to do such a thing. The cold water splashed on her instantly woke her up, and she instinctively stood up quickly from the bed.
Mu Xiaoyu was trembling with anger. Anyone would be unnerved if suddenly doused with a bucket of cold water. Mu Xiaoyu wasn't one to be trifled with; she raised her hand and slapped Xu Lan hard across the face.
"You actually hit me?"
Xu Lan covered her face, looking at Mu Xiaoyu in disbelief, her teeth clenched as if she wanted to hit him back.
Mu Xiaoyu snorted coldly, tidied herself up slightly, then sneered and looked at Xu Lan with disdain: "I hit you, so what? Do you want to get back at me? Xu Lan, right? Have you forgotten who you are? No matter how much privilege Li Chenxu gave you, you're just an etiquette teacher, an outsider. I'm the woman of the Li family. You dare to lay a hand on me? Don't you know who you are?"
