A journey through ancient times, a journey of exquisite divine skills

Chapter 11 Young Master Chai

Chapter 11 Young Master Chai

The villagers of Sujia Village are busy bringing the harvest season to a close.

The rice was spread out on an oilcloth to dry in the sun, and then hulled. The days passed by in this busy work.

Yun Dan has also gotten a tan recently.

Early that morning, Yun Dan went to find Lin's parents.

"Father, Mother, I want to go into town by myself."

Without even thinking, Lin's mother immediately said, "No, you're so young. How can you go alone? What will we do if you get lost?"

Lin's father wasn't surprised at all, because he knew Yun Dan was no ordinary person. He had seen her carry firewood back every evening with ease, unlike a child who would struggle so much.

Each bundle of firewood weighed fifty or sixty pounds; what child could carry something that heavy?

Mr. Lin said, "Okay, but you need to be careful when you get to town, and try not to get into arguments with others."

“Honey, how could you agree to this so easily? She’s only eight years old. What if something happens to her? No, she can’t go alone. Your older cousin should take you with him.”

"Really, Mother, I can manage on my own," Yun Dan insisted, not wanting to trouble her eldest cousin.

Seeing that her parents wanted to say something more, she quickly added, "Don't worry, I just want to buy some fabric. Winter is coming soon, and we need to make some clothes to keep warm at home."

Mr. and Mrs. Lin exchanged a surprised glance.

People in the countryside can't afford to buy cloth to make clothes so easily, so Yun Dan's words shocked the two of them.

"How much money do you need? I'll go get it for you."

"No need, no need. I don't have much silver here, but I think it should be enough."

That's right. Over the past month, Yun Dan had been secretly selling all the wild game she caught at the town's restaurants, and she had earned more than two taels of silver.

In the end, they agreed. After all, Yun Dan had always been independent, and judging from the fact that her clothes were patched again and again, she really needed a new set of clothes made.

Lin's father gave Yun Dan half a tael of silver and told her to handle the arrangements herself.

Yun Dan carried a small bag containing her saved pocket money as she walked towards the town.

She was in a good mood throughout the journey, looking forward to the things she was about to buy.

Upon arriving in town, Yun Dan strolled leisurely through the streets.

Meanwhile, Yun Dan was strolling leisurely down the street when suddenly a young master walked towards her from the opposite direction, followed closely by two servants.

Judging from their posture, they were as smug and arrogant as could be.

Although Yun Dan was wearing patched clothes, her face was so delicate that she looked like a little porcelain doll.

Her skin was slightly dark, but smooth as silk, exuding an understated luxury. Coupled with her ponytail and bright, sparkling eyes, she was truly captivating.

The young master, accompanied by two servants, stepped forward with a malicious smile on his face and asked Yun Dan, "Little sister, why are you alone? Where are your parents?"

Yun Dan couldn't help but mutter to herself: Damn!

She looked up at the young man, her expression innocent and naive, and said, "Big brother, I came to town alone today. I'll go home after playing for a while."

"Oh, I see. Little sister, you have such a sweet tongue. My surname is Chai, little sister, what's your name?"

"Oh, Brother Chai, my grandma calls me Little Grass."

"Little Grass Sister, it's not safe for you to be out on the street alone. Why don't you come home with your brother first?"

"How about I have a servant drive you home in a carriage later?" the young master said with a smile, but a hint of cunning flashed in his eyes.

Yun Dan thought to herself: Damn!

I can tell you're not a good person just by looking at your smile. I'm only a few years old, what on earth are you thinking?

"No need, Brother Chai. My home isn't far from town. It's just about ten miles to the north," Yun Dan quickly waved her hand and refused.

Upon hearing this, the young master was secretly delighted. This little kid is so innocent. I haven't even asked him much, and he's already told me where he lives.

He continued to persuade her, "It's okay, it's not safe for you to be alone. Come home with your brother and rest for a while. There are lots of delicious pastries and sweet candies at your brother's house."

Yun Dan was speechless to herself; everyone knew this guy clearly had ill intentions.

I'll go with him first, and then we'll see how things go and maybe play a trick on him.

Hmph, it's obvious you've done a lot of disgusting things. I'll show you later that not just anyone can be hit on.

"Wow, big brother, is it really delicious? Can I really go home with you to eat pastries and candy?"

"Okay, let's go then."

Yun Dan pretended to be happy that there would be something good to eat soon, and followed the three of them all the way back to the Chai family.

The four of them entered a house, and once inside, there were hardly any people around.

Young Master Chai said to the two men, "You two go and prepare pastries and candies."

The two servants agreed and left.

Young Master Chai led Yun Dan to a luxurious room, and Yun Dan was almost blinded by its brilliance when she entered.

The room was furnished with exquisite carvings and luxurious silks, showcasing the owner's wealth and status.

"Little Grass Sister, please sit down for a while. The pastries and candies will be here soon."

Soon two servants came in with food, including candy, pastries, fruit, and drinks.

Young Master Chai waved for the two servants to leave and then sat down next to Yun Dan.

"Come on, little grass sister, eat quickly, don't be polite with your brother."

Yun Dan suddenly pointed her finger at Chai Da Gongzi's acupoint.

Then he slowly walked out of the room and quickly pressed on the pressure points of the two servants, causing them to fall to the ground.

Then Yun Dan placed her hand on their heads, closed her eyes, and a faint red light emanated from her hand.

Yun Dan withdrew her hand, walked into the room, and stood in front of Young Master Chai, pinching his cheek with her right hand.

"Big brother, isn't Little Grass Sister very considerate? Don't be afraid, Little Grass Sister will make you feel very comfortable later."

Yun Dan placed her hand on Chai Da Gongzi's head, and a faint red light emanated from her hand.

Then Young Master Chai lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground.

At this moment, you can see that Yun Dan's forehead is covered with a little sweat.

She sighed deeply and muttered to herself, "It's still too much of a stretch to use mental attacks now. Before I reach adulthood, I should try to minimize the number of times I use them."

Yun Dan looked around the room and put all the vases, paintings, calligraphy, jade pendants, ruyi scepters, and other items such as paper and ink into her space.

Then, she took out a bamboo tube from her spatial storage, tilted her head back and took a big gulp of water, only then did she feel a little more comfortable.

She then sat cross-legged and began to cultivate in order to restore her mental state.

A moment later, Yun Dan stood up and slowly walked out of the room.

She reached the corner of the wall, leaped lightly, and instantly cleared the top of the wall, landing in the alley on the other side.

What will happen to Young Master Chai and his two servants after they wake up?

Well, I'll leave that question to you readers to use your imagination!
