Kennedy looked utterly devastated as he surveyed his surroundings.
Gone, everything was gone: all his people, all his kingdom, all his Terra Beasts, every single thing, just vanished within a few minutes.
He started coughing up blood as he looked at the gigantic Crimson Python of Death in the air, while Raiden was similarly standing there, stunned.
It was a very scary experience for him, to be honest. He knew his aunt was a little murderous, but he didn’t expect that under her attack would drag thousands of people to their deaths in one move.
He had never seen such a big scene like this before and felt unease and repulsion rise up from the depths of his soul. He looked at the moon, and it looked bloody red today.
Ruby, who was flying in the air slowly, came down before shrinking to the size of a scarf and wrapping herself around Raiden’s neck, causing him to flinch unconsciously.
She noticed his reaction, but didn’t say anything for now. He needed to get comfortable with this level of violence soon, for his future will be even more perilous.
"That guy is still alivee, finish him Rai Rai~" Ruby’s voice whispered in Raiden’s ear, making him focus back on the man who was sitting alone on the ground in shock. That perfect, charismatic look he had of the underground boss was all gone. Instead, all Raiden could see in front of his eyes was a man broken and in despair.
’That’s right!! I haven’t killed the main perpetrator yet.’
Raiden started walking over to the broken man, making him snap out of it as he desperately tried to crawl back on his hands.
"Y-You monster!! S-Stay back, I said!! Stay the fuck away from me!!" Kennedy wrote in desperation as he used everything in his body to move away from the demon.
Raiden looked at the pathetic man who was fleeing desperately from him and shook his head after seeing his figure. He almost didn’t want to take any more action against him, but then he remembered the things he said about his family.
"In your next life, remember to reincarnate as a decent human being, okay?"
"You—"
Before Kennedy could utter his last words, his speech was cut short as Raiden drove three metal claws into his head, ending his life on the spot.
Just like that, Kennedy Ingram, the one who ruled over the underground world of Verdant Hollow for more than twenty years, died. Buried along with him was his entire underground empire.

Another male voice pointed out, this one sounding much more casual.

Can it threaten the rule of the main family?? Don’t forget our mission of living in this backwater in the first place." A female voice pointed it out.
